EMC filters with integrated overvoltage protection enable smooth operation of highly sensitive electronics in harsh environments. The protective circuit with filter contains an optimal decoupling between its medium protection (varistors) and its fine protection (varistors). All leakage current-afflicted elements are galvanically isolated from earth by a gas-filled surge arrester (GDT). Suitable for the application in single-phase TN systems.
