Leutron introduces a new series of pluggable combined lightning and surge protectors type 1 and 2.The have a discharge capacity of 12.5 kA (10/350µs) and 25 kA (8/20µs) per pole and are fitted to applications with lightning protection level (LPL)  III and IV. The protection modules of the new  IPS BC 12,5 series are all desinged as pluggable, therefore the protection module can be removed from the base part without altering the cabling. This eases for example the measuring of the insulaton level in the application or the exchange in case of failure. .

All common types are available:

• Single pole: IPS BC 12.5
• Double pole,both for TN as 2-0 and as 1+1 circuit for TT supply systems IPS BC TT1+1 12.5
• Tripple pole as 3-0 circuit for TNC supply systems IPS BC TNC 12.5
• Four pole, both as 4-0 and 3+1 circuit for TNS IPS BC TNS 12.5  and TT supply systems  IPS BC TT 12.5

Additionally a single pole N-PE spark gap  IPS N-PE 50kA (10/350µs) with a discharge current of 50 kA (10/350 µs) is also available.
All variants are optionally available with a remote contact.
